Jacobson Named ECAC Division III Northeast Rookie of the Week

Framingham, Mass. – Freshman linebacker Svenn Jacobson (Cumberland, ME) has been named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Northeast Rookie of the Week for the week ending November 15^th.   

Jacobson earlier this week was named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Defensive Rookie of the Week and receives his second ECAC rookie of the week nod this season.  Jacobson recorded seven tackles, including five solo stop.  He picked up a sack-forced fumble that was recovered by the Rams and led to a fourth quarter touchdown.  He intercepted a pass down the stretch that helped the Rams secure a regular season ending victory over Worcester State.
