12 Rams Earn MASCAC Football All-Conference Honors – Kelley, Donahue, Stanfield and Jacobson Grab Major Awards

Framingham, Mass. – The Framingham State University football team landed 12 players on the 2014 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Football All-Conference Teams and head coach Tom Kelley, safety Kevin Donahue (Norfolk, Mass.), center Nick Stanfield (Everett, Mass.) and linebacker Svenn Jacobson (Cumberland, ME) received major awards in voting conducted by the league's coaches and announced by the conference office this morning.   

Eighth year head coach Tom Kelley was named the Champion's Choice Coach of the Year, while Jacobson was recognized as the MASCAC Defensive Rookie of the Year. Donahue was tabbed as the league's Defensive Player of the Year and Stanfield earned Offensive Lineman of the Year recognition.

Joining Donahue and Stanfield on the All-Conference first team are junior safety Matt Mangano (Winchester, Mass.), senior defensive lineman Olajuwon Dickerson (Milton, Mass.), senior offensive guard James Krebs (Carver, Mass.), senior offensive tackle Patrick McDonald (Hyde Park, Mass.), senior full back Randall Kelleher (Swampscott, Mass.) and junior quarterback Matt Silva (Dracut, Mass.).

Jacobson was an All-MASCAC second team selection along with defensive back Lewis Bailey (Chelmsford, Mass.), defensive lineman Quentin Jones (Springfield, Mass.) and sophomore running back Jalen Green (Brockton, Mass.).
