Dickerson and Jacobson Earn MASCAC Football Weekly Honors
Framingham, Mass. – Senior defensive lineman Olajuwon Dickerson (Milton, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Football Defensive Player of the Week and freshman linebacker Svenn Jacobson (Cumberland, ME) has been named the MASCAC Football Rookie of the Week for the week ending November 15th.
Dickerson earns his first defensive player of the week honors this season after compiling nine tackles, including six solo stops, in the Rams regular season ending win over Worcester State. Dickerson also picked up four tackles for a loss of 16 yards including a six yard sack.
Jacobson receives his second rookie of the week nod this season. Jacobson recorded seven tackles, including five solo. He picked up a sack-forced fumble that led to a Rams fourth quarter touchdown and also intercepted a pass to help secure the victory.
