Notice Featured in Sports Illustrated Faces in the Crowd
Framingham, Mass. – Framingham State University senior defensive back Tyrone Notice (Gardner, Mass.) has been selected as one of Sports Illustrated's Face in the Crowd appearing in the January 14th print edition.
Notice was selected as a Face in the Crowd after capping his senior season for the Rams with an outstanding performance at Global Football's fourth annual Bowl of Stars in Guadalajara, Mexico. Notice returned an interception 43 yards for a touchdown, blocked a punt for a safety and had three tackles in a 32-15 win for the U.S. Stars and Stripes, a collection of Division III players, over Mexico's All-Stars.
Notice received several honors this season for his outstanding play for the New England Football Conference (NEFC) Champion and MASCAC Champion Rams who finished the 2012 campaign 10-2 earning the programs first trip to the NCAA Division III Football Championship. Notice was selected to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) All-Star team and a first team All-Bogan division selection in the NEFC. Notice was one of the anchors of the Rams secondary that ranked second in the NEFC in pass defense as he racked up 26 tackles this season with five interceptions and 10 pass breakups.
