MacKay Resigns as Associate Head Football Coach and Defensive Coordinator

Framingham, Mass. – After three seasons with the Framingham State University football program, Andrew MacKay has resigned effective immediately as the associate head coach and defensive coordinator.  MacKay accepted a position as the head football coach at Ashland High School. 

MacKay, who began Framingham State in 2008 as the linebackers coach, was the defensive coordinator for two seasons and the associate head coaching for one year during the 2010 season.  In 2010 the Rams set a new school record for wins going 9-2 and winning their first post season bowl game.
