Rich Earns Second NEFC Offensive Player of the Week Honor

Framingham, MA - Framingham State College senior quarterback Bruce Rich (Chelmsford, MA) earned his second New England Football Conference (NEFC) Offensive Player of the Week award on Monday as he had a hand in all six of the Rams touchdowns as they defeated MIT 42-38.  Rich, who is leading the NEFC in pass efficiency and is third in passing yards per game, completed 22 of 29 passes for 361 yards and 4 touchdowns including the game winning 3-yard TD pass with eight seconds remaining in the game.  He also rushed for 36 yards and two scores.  Rich also received the player of the week nod on September 8^th when he completed 17 of 27 passes for 229 yards and 2 TDs and rushed for 44 yards including the game winning touchdown against Endicott on a 22-yard carry in the final minute of play.  The Rams return to action on Saturday as the travel to Fitchburg State at 1:30.
