Rich Earns Second NEFC Offensive Player of the Week Honor

Framingham, MA - Framingham State College senior quarterback Bruce Rich (Chelmsford, MA) earned his second New England Football Conference (NEFC) Offensive Player of the Week award on Monday as he had a hand in all six of the Rams touchdowns as they defeated MIT 42-38.  Rich, who is leading the NEFC in pass efficiency and is third in passing yards per game, completed 22 of 29 passes for 361 yards and 4 touchdowns including the game winning 3-yard TD pass with eight seconds remaining in the game.  He also rushed for 36 yards and two scores.  Rich also received the player of the week nod on September 8th when he completed 17 of 27 passes for 229 yards and 2 TDs and rushed for 44 yards including the game winning touchdown against Endicott on a 22-yard carry in the final minute of play.  The Rams return to action on Saturday as the travel to Fitchburg State at 1:30.
