Rich Named NEFC Offensive Player of the Week
Framingham, MA - Framingham State College senior quarterback Bruce Rich (Chelmsford, MA) was named the New England Football Conference (NEFC) Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending September 7th. On Saturday Rich led the Rams to their first opening day win since 2005 and their first win against Endicott College. He completed 17 of 27 passes for 229 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions while being sacked five times. Rich also rushed for 44 yards in the game including a 22-yard touch down run in the final minute of play that turned out to be the game winner as the Rams defeated Endicott 25-20. The Rams return to action on Friday as they travel to Nichols College for a 7:00 game.
