Nosky Tabbed MASCAC Baseball Rookie of the Year – Higgins Named Second Team All-MASCAC

Framingham, Mass. – Freshman pitcher Scott Nosky (Dedham, Mass.) has been named the 2021 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Baseball Rookie of the Year and senior second baseman Bobby Higgins (Barnstable, Mass.) has been named to the All-MASCAC Second Team in voting conducted by the league's coaches and announced by the conference office this morning.  

Nosky was tabbed Rookie of the Year after a solid first season on the mound for the Rams.  Nosky, who was named both pitcher of the week and rookie of the week during the season, made eight appearances on the mound going 3-3 with two complete games.  Nosky tossed a team-high 34.1 innings with 36 strikeouts and an ERA of 3.71.

Higgins earns his first All-MASCAC honors after an outstanding final season for the Rams.  Higgins hit .289 with a .913 fielding percentage.  Higgins collected 24 hits on the year with four doubles, three home runs and 19 RBI.

The Rams finished the 2021 season with a 10-17 record including a 3-7 mark in league play.
