Four Rams Named to All-MASCAC Baseball Teams

Framingham, Mass. – The Framingham State University baseball team placed four players on the 2018 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) All-Conference Teams in voting conducted by the league's coaches and announced by the conference office this morning.

Sophomore second baseman Anthony Venuti (Braintree, Mass.), junior outfielder Aaron Williams (Brockton, Mass.) and senior designated hitter Cameron Borrelli (Peabody, Mass.) have been selected to the first team, while junior catcher Jordan Pallazola (Rockport, Mass.) has been chosen for the second team.

Venuti earns his second All-MASCAC selection after hitting .273 with four doubles, three home runs and 21 RBI during his sophomore season.  Williams earns his first All-MASCAC accolades after leading the MASCAC with 25 stolen bases on 28 attempts. Williams ranked second in the league and led the Rams with a .378 average including seven doubles and 23 RBI.

Borrelli earns his first All-MASCAC honors after his senior season. Borrelli finished the season ranked second in the MASCAC with 41 RBI. Borrelli hit .321 on the year with 12 doubles, four triples and five home runs.

Pallazola repeats as an All-MASCAC second team selection after earning the honor in 2015 and 2017.  Pallazola hit .231 with eight doubles and six homeruns, which placed him sixth in the MASCAC.  Pallazola drove in 25 runs on the year and scored 25 times.

The 2018 Rams finished the season 21-19 which earned them the third seed in the MASCAC Championship Tournament and the Rams advanced to the MASCAC Tournament championship game.
