Connelly Selected as an ECAC DIII New England All-Star

Framingham, Mass. – Sophomore Kevin Connelly (Bolton, Mass.) has been selected to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England All-Star as announced by the ECAC this morning.

Connelly has previously been recognized by D3baseball.com as an All-New England third team selection and was tabbed as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Baseball Pitcher of the Year and first team All-MASCAC selection. 

Connelly went a MASCAC best 7-1 on the year with five complete games and three shutouts. Connelly made 12 appearances with nine starts and allowed just 18 earned runs in 69 innings of work.  Connelly recorded 63 strikeouts on the season and averaged just over eight strikeouts per nine innings with a 2.35 ERA.

The 2017 Rams finished the season 20-14 overall and advanced to the MASCAC Tournament championship game.
