North Dartmouth, Mass. – The Framingham State University baseball team was back in action this afternoon on the road at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and were defeated 17-5 by the Corsairs.
The Rams are now 4-9 on the year, while UMass Dartmouth is now 4-6 after the victory.
Junior Matt Roberge (Lowell, Mass.) and sophomore Cameron Couillard (North Andover, Mass.) led the Rams with two hits apiece, while sophomore John Gill (Hudson, Mass.) scored a pair of runs.
The Corsairs plated three in the first and seven in the second to take control of the game.
The Rams return to action on Friday afternoon when the open the MASCAC portion of their schedule with a doubleheader at Massachusetts Maritime Academy slated to begin at 1 p.m.
