Tramontozzi Selected MASCAC Co-Player of the Week

Framingham, MA - Sophomore outfielder Steven Tramontozzi was selected the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) baseball Co-Player of the week this morning.  Tramontozzi shared the honor with Worcester State senior outfielder Matt Hart, who hit .412 this week. 

Tramontozzi, a 2008 Second Team All-MASCAC selection, batted .533 (8-15) in four games this week with a pair of doubles, three homeruns and nine RBI as the Rams went 2-2 and picked up their first conference win of the season.  Tramontozzi's biggest hit of the week was a grand slam in the top of the seventh inning that lifted the Rams to a 7-5 win over Bridgewater State.  For the year, the Watertown native is second on the team with a batting average of .373 with four doubles, three homeruns and 18 RBI.
