Bio

Dr. Michael J. Harrison, a former collegiate athlete, is in his 16^th year at Framingham State and 14^th year as our Faculty Athletic Representative (FAR).

Harrison is a Professor of Business Administration with over 22 years of business experience working with world-class organizations in aviation, financial services,  and consumer electronics. His corporate experience includes positions as a department manager, program manager, performance consultant, sales executive, and sales trainer. He is published in peer-reviewed journals and is co-author of a book chapter in The Future of Business Schools.  Dr. Harrison was named Teacher of Year in 2010 and Advisor of the Year in 2024. He teaches business courses including Sports Marketing, Sales, Marketing Research, and International Business.

Dr. Harrison has served on the NCAA Nominating Committee and is currently serving on the NCAA DIII Strategic Planning & Finance Committee. He is also an FAA licensed Flight Dispatcher and a licensed Private Pilot.

Dr. Harrison holds a Doctorate in Business Administration, an MBA in Finance, a Master of Science in Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
