Bio

Laura Rusk is beginning her fifteenth season as part of the Framingham State University Athletic Training Department and her fourteenth as the head athletic trainer.  Rusk came to Framingham in 2007, having spent the previous year as an assistant athletic trainer at Mount Holyoke College where she worked with all of their women's athletic programs.  Prior to that, Rusk spent time as an assistant athletic trainer at Drake University in Des Moines, IA, where she worked primarily with volleyball, tennis, spring football and softball.  She also worked the Bulldog sports camps in the summer. 

Rusk earned a Bachelor of Science in exercise and sport science from Iowa State University and completed a Master of Public Administration in 2006 from Drake University.  Rusk completed work on a Master of Business Administration degree in 2017 from Framingham State University and currently resides in Framingham, Mass.
