Carey W. Eggen is in her 25th year at Framingham State University and was promoted to Deputy Director in 2017 after serving as Associate Athletic Director since 2003. Eggen joined the Rams staff as Assistant Athletic Director in 1999.  

Eggen graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in rehabilitation counseling from Springfield College in 1995.  She received her Master of Education degree in rehabilitation counseling from Springfield College in 1997 and received a certificate of advanced graduate study in athletic counseling from Springfield College in 1999.  

Prior to joining the Rams athletic staff, Eggen was the academic coordinator for the Springfield College football team.  In addition, she served as the administrative assistant for the football program, assisting with recruiting, travel and freshman orientation.  Eggen also worked within the Springfield Pride's athletic department as the internal and external event manager, as well as the student aide to the Assistant Athletic Director.  Eggen was also a teaching fellow in the Rehabilitation Department, assisting with classes, including Introduction to Rehabilitation and Psychology of Disability. 

Eggen is married to WPI's Associate Athletic Director/Sports Information Director, Rusty Eggen and currently resides in Worcester, MA with her husband and sons, Chase, Colby and Caiden.
