Framingham, Mass. – Four year volleyball and women’s basketball standout Alycia Rackliffe (Feeding Hills, Mass.) has been selected as Framingham State University’s and the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference’s (MASCAC) nominee for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award.

Framingham, Mass. – Four year volleyball and women’s basketball standout Alycia Rackliffe (Feeding Hills, Mass.) has been selected the 2017 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year in voting conducted by the conference’s eight athletic directors and announced by the MASCAC this morning.
52 Rams Named to Fall 2016 MASCAC All-Academic Team

Westfield, Mass. — A total of 695 student-athletes, including 52 from Framingham State University, have been honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) with selection to the league’s Fall 2016 All-Academic Team as announced earlier today by MASCAC Commissioner Angela Baumann.

Volleyball Falls to MIT in Opening Round of NCAA Tournament

Medford, Mass. – The Framingham State University volleyball team closed the 2016 season with a 3-0 loss to MIT in the opening round of the NCAA Division III Tournament at Cousens Gym on the campus of Tufts University. The Rams fell by scores of 25-13, 2-17 and 25-19.

Framingham, Mass. – Senior right side Alycia Rackliffe (Feeding Hills, Mass.) repeats as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Volleyball Player of the Year and the Rams place four on the 2016 All-MASCAC Teams in voting conducted by the league’s coaches and announced by the conference office this morning. Head coach Richard Casali has also been recognized as the 2016 Champion’s Choice Volleyball Coach of the Year.

Worcester, Mass. – The Framingham State University volleyball team wrapped up the 2016 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Regular Season Championship with a 3-2 victory over Worcester State University this morning at Lancer Gymnasium. The Rams were defeated 3-2 by Rhode Island College.

Milton, Mass. – The Framingham State University volleyball team swept Curry College 3-0 this evening in non-conference action at Katz Gymnasium. The Rams were victorious by scores of 25-17, 26-24 and 25-13.
