Dudley, Mass.- The Nichols College women's soccer team defeated Framingham State 7-0 Monday afternoon at the NC Soccer Field in Dudley, Massachusetts.
THE BASICS:
- Score: Nichols College 7, Framingham State 0
- Records: Framingham State (2-6-1), Nichols College (9-2)
- Location: Nichols Soccer Field – Dudley, Mass.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bison opened up the scoring in the 14th minute with a goal from sophomore Amalia Sessoms, her third of the season. Graduate student Meghan Dunn picked up her third assist on the goal.
- Five minutes later the Rams got called for a penalty and Dunn was able to notch the penalty kick to give the Bison the 2-0 lead.
- Late in the first half sophomore Damiana D'Agostino capitalized on a mistake by the Rams goalie and scored her first goal of the season to send the Bison into the break with a 3-0 lead.
- The Bison added four more goals in the second half courtesy of junior Abby Bassett and freshman Amanda Simco, Niah Samboy, Bassett added two goals herself.
UP NEXT:
The Rams return to action on Saturday, October 5th when they travel to Worcester State for a MASCAC matchup.
