O’Connor Repeats as MASCAC Rookie of the Week
Framingham, Mass.- Framingham State freshman Flannery O'Connor (Amesbury, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week for the week ending January 19th.
O'Connor, who picks up her fifth rookie of the week honor and second in as many weeks, averaged nine points, six boards, two blocks and an assist in a 2-0 week for the Rams. She scored 12 with eight boards and two blocks in the Rams 75-73 win over Worcester State. The freshman added six points with four boards, two assists and two blocks in just 18 minutes of play in the 78-47 win over MCLA to remain undefeated in conference play.
