O’Day & O’Connor Earn MASCAC Weekly Awards

Framingham, Mass.- Framingham State senior Mary Kate O'Day (Berlin, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week and freshman Flannery O'Connor (Amersbury, Mass.) has been named MASCAC Rookie of the Week for the week ending December 1^st.

O'Day scored a season-best 26 points with nine rebounds, two assists and two steals in the Rams' 93-70 win over Lasell University in their lone game of the week.

O'Connor who nabs her second rookie of the week honors, registered a double-double of 15 points and 11 boards along with a steal and an assist in the Rams' 93-70 win last week.
