Dayna Marchant of East Bridgewater has once again been selected to the All-Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference first team in softball. The Framingham State University junior right fielder received the honor for the third year in a row after helping the Rams establish a program record with 31 wins.

Framingham, Mass. – Sophomore pitcher Kelsi Gunarathne (North Providence, RI) and junior outfielder Dayna Marchant (East Bridgewater, Mass.) have been recognized with selection to the 2017 National Fast Pitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division III All-New England Teams. Gunarathne is a second team selection, while Marchant is a third team selection.

Framingham, Mass. – Sophomore pitcher Kelsi Gunarathne (North Providence, RI) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Pitcher of the Week and sophomore DP Kayla Finacchiaro (Natick, Mass.) has been named the MASCAC Player of the Week for the week ending May 14th that saw the Rams go 1-2 in the NCAA Tournament.

Babson Park, Mass. - Sophomore Kayla Finacchiaro (Natick, Mass.) hit a three-run homer in the top of the seventh inning and drove in four runs on the day as Framingham State University defeated Lesley University, 4-2, in an NCAA Tournament elimination game at the Babson Park Regional on Saturday afternoon.

Framingham, Mass. – Sophomore pitcher Kelsi Gunarathne (North Providence, RI) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Pitcher of the Year, freshman outfielder Mycala Moody (North Attleboro, Mass.) has been named the MASCAC Rookie of the Year and head coach Larry Miller has been named the Champion’s Choice MASCAC Softball Coach of the Year as the Rams landed four on the All-MASCAC softball teams as announced by the conference office this morning.
