46 Rams Named to Spring 2015 MASCAC All-Academic Team

Westfield, Mass. — A total of 757 student-athletes, including 46 from Framingham State University, have been honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) with selection to the league’s Spring 2015 All-Academic Team as announced earlier this week by MASCAC Commissioner Angela Baumann.

Bridgewater, Mass. – The sixth seed Framingham State University softball team was defeated 3-2 this afternoon by the third seed Bridgewater State University Bears in an opening round game of the 2015 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Softball Championship Tournament.

Waltham, Mass. – The Brandeis University softball team moved over .500 for the first time since early March today as the Judges swept a doubleheader from Framingham State with a pair of late home runs keying both wins. The Judges hit two homers in the sixth for a 5-2 win in Game 1, and a two-run job in the fifth was the deciding hit in a 4-2 win in Game 2.

Framingham, Mass. – The Framingham State University softball team suffered a pair of defeats this afternoon to Bridgewater State University in a Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) doubleheader this afternoon at Maple Street. The Bears took the opener 15-1 in five innings before coming from behind for a 4-3 victory in the night cap.

Buzzards Bay, Mass. -- Freshman Anna Dziok (Southampton, Mass.) rapped out six hits and drove in five runs to lead Framingham State to a sweep of a Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference softball doubleheader from Massachusetts Maritime Wednesday afternoon by scores of 14-1 in the opener and 25-2 in the nightcap in five inning games played at Alison Rollins Field.
