Men’s Cross Country Finishes Fifth at MASCAC Championship

Williamstown, Mass. – Freshman Kevin Durant (Lynn, Mass.) was the Rams top finisher as the Framingham State University men's cross country team finished in 5thplace at the MASCAC Championship race hosted my MCLA at Mt. Greylock Regional High School Saturday morning.

THE BASICS

  • Finish: Framingham State finished in 5th place - Fitchburg State captured the 2018 MASCAC Men's Cross Country Title
  • Location: Williamstown, Mass. - Mount Greylock Regional High School 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

  • Durant led the Rams completing the 8K course in a time of 30:00 which landed him in 23rd place.
  • Finishing next for the Rams was Jackson Roshcer (Southampton, Mass.) with a time of 32:04 followed by Adam Banat  (Shrewsbury, Mass.) at 34:31.
  • Logan Cochran (Marlborough, Mass.) & Kamrin Macfarland (Plymouth, Mass.) followed shortly after at 34:52 & 35:33.
  • Kamrin Macfarland (Plymouth, Mass.), Benjamin Matson (Plymouth, Mass.)& Andy Zhang (Medford, Mass.) closed out the race for the Rams at 35:33, 37:36 and 38:41, respectively.

  • The Rams return to action on Saturday, November 10thwhen they compete at the NCAA Div. III Regional hosted by Bowdoin College.
