Springfield, Mass.- The Framingham State ice hockey team overcame a 2-0 defecit early in the 2nd period to force overtime and a 2-2 draw with Western New England Saturday evening in Springfield.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Tyler Pohlig broke through late in the first to put the Golden Bears in the lead on a powerplay goal with a helper from Andrew Green.
- Pohlig tallied on the powerplay again early on in the second with assists from Anthony Frati and Jordan Giacomin.
- The Rams cut into the lead in the final minute of the second when Zach Bettmeng tallied on the man advantage with help from Kolton Smith and Soren Colstrup.
- The visitors found the equalizer midway through the 3rd when Jake Garman found the back of the cage with help from Trevor Lewandoski.
- Colton Lancaster made 20 saves in net for WNE while Blake Carlson turned away 38 shots for the Rams.
