Wojenski and Ford Earn MASCAC Weekly Honors

Framingham, Mass. – Senior quarterback Adam Wojenski (Stratford, Conn.) has been selected the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Offensive Player of the Week and freshman running back Devaun Ford (Mashpee, Mass.) had been tabbed the MASCAC Rookie of the Week for the week ending October 5th.

Wojenski, who earned this week's NEFW Gold Helmet Awards, threw for 422 yards and five touchdowns while amassing 475 yards of total offense as the Rams defeated previously unbeaten UMass Dartmouth 39-33 on Saturday.  Wojenski completed 14 of 25 passes without throwing a pick and threw touchdowns of 39, 69, 54, 26 and a school record 97 yards to senior Jacob Maher.  Wojenski also rushed for 53 yards on 11 carries.

Ford earns his third Rookie of the Week honor after rushing for 42 yards on 16 carries with a long of 13.  Ford scored the game-winning touchdown on a four yard run with just over five minutes remaining in the game.  He also made three catches in the game for 39 yards.
