First Annual Youth Football Camp Sponsored by Framingham State

The first annual Youth Football Camp sponsored by the 2010 MASCAC and ECAC Northeast Bowl Champion Framingham State University football program will be held on July 25-28, 2011 from 4:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at Framingham State University’s Maple Street Field. The non-contact camp is open to players ages 8-15. Camp participants at all positions will work with college coaches to improve their skills through a variety of drills.

McCarthy is the Division III recipient, while Shawn Loiseau, a linebacker from Merrimack College, is the Division II winner.

Northfield, Vt. —The Framingham State University football team rallied from a 14 point first quarter deficit to defeat the host Norwich University Cadets 27-21 in overtime in the ECAC Northeast Bowl Game played this afternoon at Norwich. The Rams, who were making their first ECAC Bowl Game appearance, finish their best season to date with a 9-2 record, while the Cadets finish 2010 8-3.

Framingham, Mass. — The Framingham State University football team has been selected to participate in one of the seven 2010 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Football Bowl Championship games. The Rams will face off against Norwich University in the Northeast Bowl which will be played on Saturday, November 20th at noon at Norwich. The Rams, who will be making their first appearance in an ECAC Bowl game, and Norwich both enter the game with identical 8-2 records.
