Roberts Leads Cross Country at Early Invitational

Westfield, Mass.- Sophomore Taylor Roberts (North Brookfield, Mass.) came in 29^th overall with a  5k time of 19:49.82 to lead the Framingham State men's and women's cross country team as they participated in the 2015 James Early Invitational.

Robert's was followed on the women's side by senior Morgan Zabinski (Rehoboth Mass.) with a 21:25.50 (123^rd), freshman Iracely Sanchez (Framinghanm, Mass.) at 22:30.11 and Courteny Torres (Westminster, Mass.) 22:38.83. The Rams finished 23^rd out of 39 teams.

One the men's side the Rams were led by junior Dan Stevens (Holliston , Mass.) who came across at 30:15.86. Junior Greg Asci (Rockland, Mass.) came in at 33:40.54 followed by senior Jay Ebersole (Natick, Mass.) and junior Adam Meltzer (Holliston, Mass.) with times of 34:13.14 and 36:10.63 respectively. The Rams placed 34^th out of the pool of 38 teams.

Framingham State returns to action on Saturday, October 17^th when the travel to the WNE Cross Country Invitational.
