Chamberlain Chosen as ECAC New England Co-Rookie of the Week
Framingham, MA- Framingham State University freshman Haley Chamberlain (Charlton, MA/Shepherd Hill) has been selected as the East Coast Athletic Conference (ECAC) New England Division III Women's Cross Country Co-Rookie of the Week for the week ending October 19th.
Earlier this week Chamerlain was named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Rookie of the Week.
Chamberlain finished second in a field of 210 runners with a 5k time of 19:51, leading the Rams at the Golden Bear Invitational hosted by Western New England University. Framingham State placed 6th out of 22 teams with an average time of 21:21.72.
This is the second time this season Chamberlain has been honored by the ECAC with this honor. She received the same recognition for the week ending October 5th after winning the Tri-State Invitational that Saturday.
The Rams are off until November 1st when they compete at the MASCAC/Alliance Championships hosted by MCLA on November 1st.
