Women's Cross Country Finishes Fifth at WNE Invitational
Springfield, Mass. - The Framingham State University women's cross country team led by a 14thplace finish from Kate Buban finished fifth at the Western New England Invitational on Saturday morning.

The Rams finished fifth with 134 points and were just narrowly edged by Westfield State who claimed the fourth spot with 129 points.

Buban was the Rams top finisher as she completed the 5K course with a time of 25:33 which was just three seconds behind the runner ahead of her in the standings.

Meghan Johnston was the next Ram to cross the line as she came in 22nd with a time of 26:08.

The next Ram to finish the course was Kelsey Gendreau who finished at 27:13. Leah Chace and Camille Graffeo were the next two Rams finishing just nine seconds apart with Chace crossing at 28:14 and Graffeo at 28:23.

Rounding out the top seven for the Rams were Amanda Bedard (28:49) and Lydia Marunowski (31:03).
