Women's Cross Country Places 15th at Suffolk Invitational

Boston, Mass. – The Framingham State University women's cross country team returned to the trails today with a strong performance at the Suffolk Invitational finishing in 15^th place.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• The Rams were led in the race by freshman Leah Chace (East Greenwich, RI) who completed the 6K course in a time of 28:06.
• Junior Kathryn Hayes (Dedham, Mass.) and Elizabeth Dykstra (Sutton, Mass.) followed for the Rams just five places apart at 28:39 and 29:08.
• Finishing next for the Rams was Emily Steele (Foxborough, Mass.) with a time of 30:15, while Amanda Bedard (Paxton, Mass.) and Kammarie Pelland (Fitchburg, Mass.) were close behind at 30:50 and 31:29.
• Junior Emily Newcomb (Raynham, Mass.) rounded out the top six for the Rams with a time of 32:50.
