Women's Cross Country Races at 2021 UMass Dartmouth Cross Country Invitational

Dartmouth, Mass. – The Framingham State University women's cross country team returned to the trails today with a solid showing at the 2021 UMass Dartmouth Cross Country Invitational.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• The Rams were paced by freshman Leah Chace (East Greenwich, RI) who completed the 5K course in a time of 21:32.
• Freshman Camille Carvalho (Spencer, Mass.) followed just a few places behind crossing the line at 21:38.
• Junior Kathryn Hayes (Dedham, Mass.) followed with a time of 22:42, while classmate Kammarie Pelland (Fitchburg, Mass.) finished the course with a time of 23:38.
• Sophomore Emily Newcomb (Raynham, Mass.) was right on Pelland's heels crossing at 24:24 to round out the field for the Rams..
