Women’s Cross Country has Solid Showing at UMass Dartmouth Invitational

North Dartmouth, Mass. – The Framingham State University women's cross country had a strong showing today at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Cross Country Invitational.

The Rams top finisher on the 5K course was senior Mikaela Ranahan (North Andover, Mass.) who crossed the line in a time of 20:51 with sophomore Beatrice Donoghue (Rowley, Mass.) not far behind at 20:59.

Sophomore Amena El-Sayed (Milton, Mass.) followed at 22:59 and Morgan Perry (Pepperell, Mass.) and freshman Eri Takahashi (Plymouth, Mass.) crossed the line just 10 seconds apart at 23:31 and 23:41.  Rounding out the field for the Rams in the varsity race was Dana Arburr (Glastonbury, Conn.) at 24:10.

The remainder of the women's team competed in the sub-varsity races as teams were limited to just seven runners in the varsity race.

The Rams are back on the course on September 30th at the Tri-State Invitational hosted by CCRI.
