Women’s Cross Country Finishes 4th at MASCAC Championship

Fitchburg, Mass.- The Framingham State University women's cross country team finished 4th at the 2016 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Championships hosted by Fitchburg State Saturday morning.

The Rams were led by Mikaela Ranahan (North Andover, Mass.) who completed the 5K course in a time of 21:44 for 31st place overall. Beatrice Donoghue (Rowley, Mass.) and Hannah Rogers (Dighton, Mass.) finished in quick succession with times of 21:51 & 21:52 while teammate Jillian Preman (Wilbraham, Mass..) followed behind at 22:46.

The Rams next finisher was Dana Arburr (Glostobbury, Conn.) in a time of 23:14 and Morgan Perry (Pepperell, Mass.) followed at 23:31.  Rounding out the Rams in the race were Allie Flood (23:50), Siobhan Senier (24:57), Lauren Maniscalco (25:48), Kate Girardi (27:40), Meagan Kohlenberger (28:27) and Sam Morin (33:21).

The Rams are idle next week, but return to the course on November 12th at the NCAA Div. III New England Regional hosted by Westfield State.
