Women’s Cross Country Has Strong Showing at James Earley Invitational

Westfield, Mass. – The Framingham State University women's cross country team had a strong showing this morning at the James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield State University at Stanley Park.

Leading the way for the Rams was Hannah Rogers (Dighton, Mass.) who crossed the line in 25:44, while freshman Beatrice Donohue (Rowley, Mass.) was under a minute behind at 26:25.  Senior Mikaela Ranahan (North Andover, Mass.) completed the 5K course in a time of 27:12 and Jillian Preman (Wilbraham, Mass.) was close behind at 27:20.

Freshman Dana Arburr (Glastonbury, Conn.) and junior Morgan Perry (Pepperell, Mass.) followed at 27:43 and 27:47 respectively, while Allie Flood (Dedham, Mass.) crossed the line at 28:59.  Rounding out the field for the Rams are Siobhan Senier (Medway, Mass.) (31:23), Kate Girardi (Woburn, Mass.) (33:58) and Meagan Kohlenberger (Lee, Mass.) (36:06).

The Rams are back in action next Saturday when they travel to Cortland State for a 12 p.m. non-conference match-up, while the Gulls entertain Hobart next Saturday at 12 p.m.
