Reynolds Tabbed MASCAC Rookie of the Year as Volleyball Lands Four on 2023 All-MASCAC Teams

Framingham, Mass. – Freshmen middle blocker Natalie Reynolds (Beverly, Mass.) has been named the 2023 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Volleyball Rookie of the Year as the Rams land four on the 2023 All-MASCAC Volleyball Teams as announced by the conference office this morning after voting was conducted the league's coaches. 

Senior middle hitter Hailey Sanders (Franklin, Mass.) and graduate student outside hitter Anna Szymanski (Harwinton, Conn.) have been selected to the first team, while sophomore setter Stella Bailey (Wrentham, Mass.) and Reynolds have been voted to the second team. 

Reynolds was tabbed Rookie of the Year after a solid first season for the Rams. Reynolds ranks third in the MASCAC in kills (282) and third in hitting percentage (.302). Reynolds recorded 59 total blocks on the season including 22 solo with 105 digs. 

Szymanski earns her second all-conference honors after she finished the season ranked second in the league in kills (308) and in kills per set with a 2.88 average per set She collected 295 digs on the year with 23 total blocks and 29 aces.   

Sanders earns her third first team selection after finishing her final season first in the MASCAC in kills (341), hitting percentage (.341) and kills per set (3.34) Sanders finished the season with 55 total blocks including 35 solo. 

Bailey repeats as an All-MASCAC selection after leading the league with 1030 assists and averaging 9.28 assists per set. Bailey tallied 35 aces on the season and added 257 defensive digs. 

The 2023 Rams finished the season 21-10 overall and captured the 2023 MASCAC Tournament Championship and earned the MASCAC's automatic bid to the 2023 NCAA Division III Tournament.
