Szymanski, Beaulieu & Reynolds Earn MASCAC Volleyball Weekly Honors

Framingham, MA – Graduate student outside hitter Anna Szymanski (Harwinton, Conn.) has been selected the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week, sophomore libero Carly Beaulieu (Sutton, Mass.) has been named the MASCAC Defensive Player of the Week and freshman middle hitter Natalie Reynolds has been named the MASCAC Rookie of the Week for the week ending November 12th.   

Szymanski averaged 14 kills and 8.3 digs per match in a 3-0 week for the Rams earning MASCAC Tournament MVP honors as they claimed MASCAC Tournament Title. She collected 11 kills and five digs in the 3-0 quarterfinal win over Bridgewater State, 16 kills, five digs and three block assists in the five set semifinal win over top seed Westfield State. Szymanski registered 15 kills and 15 digs in the five set championship match win over MCLA. 

Beaulieu earns Defensive Player of the Week honors after averaging 17.7 digs per match with seven service aces. Beaulieu finished with 17 digs and three aces in the 3-0 win over Bridgewater State, 20 digs in the semifinal five set win over Westfield State and 16 digs plus three aces in the title game five set victory over MCLA. 

Reynolds earns Rookie of the Week honors after averaging 11.3 kills per match with a .414 hitting percentage with 10 digs and nine total blocks. Reynolds had six kills, four digs and three solo blocks in the 3-0 win over Bridgewater State in the quarterfinals. She finished with 18 kills, four digs and two block assists in the five set semifinal win over Westfield State and 10 kills, four blocks (three solo) and two digs in the championship game five set win over MCLA.
