Volleyball Earns Fourth Seed In MASCAC Tournament

Framingham, Mass. – The Framingham State University volleyball has earned the fourth seed in this week's Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Volleyball Tournament.  As the fourth seed the Rams will host fifth seed Bridgewater State in one quarterfinal on Tuesday, November 7th at Logan Gymnasium at 7:15 p.m.

The volleyball team completed the regular season 18-10 overall and 4-3 in MASCAC action. The Bears finished the regular season 4-12 overall and 2-5 in league action.  The winner of the Framingham/Bridgewater quarterfinal will advance the semifinals on Thursday.

Third seed MCLA hosts sixth seed Fitchburg State on Tuesday in the other quarterfinal. The lowest remaining seed after the quarterfinals will face top seed Westfield State, while the other quarterfinal winner will face second seed Worcester State on Thursday in the semifinals.  The tournament concludes on Saturday with the winners of the two semifinals meeting at the highest remaining seed. The winner of the finals receives the MASCAC's automatic bid to the 2023 NCAA Division III Volleyball Championship.
