Volleyball Holds on for Five Set Victory over Rhode Island College
Providence, RI - The Framingham State University volleyball team held off Rhode Island College in the fifth set as the Rams secured a 3-2 victory in non-conference action at the Murray Center.

The Rams led 2-1 after taking the first and third sets by scores of 25-21. RIC took the fourth set in convincing fashion 25-8, but the Rams jumped out the lead in fifth and held on taking the frame 15-8 to secure the victory in the match.

The Rams were led on the attack by 14 kills on 34 attempts by Hailey Sanders, who also added four blocks in the match.

Natalie Reynolds chipped in with 11 kills, three blocks and two aces, while Anna Szymanski added nine kills and nine digs.

The defensive effort was led by a team high 18 digs and three aces from Anneli DiVirgilio, while Stella Bailey finished the match with 15 digs and 35 set assists.

Carley Beaulieu added 13 digs, while Jamiee Lowe finished the match with 10.
