Volleyball Sweeps a Pair of Matches with Colby-Sawyer

New London, NH - The Framingham State University volleyball team cruised to a pair of victories this afternoon defeating Colby-Sawyer by scores of 3-0 and 3-1 at the Dan & Kathleen Hogan Sports Center.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • In the opener, the Rams were paced on the attack by a team-high 11 kills from Anna Szymanski, while Hailey Sanders chipped in with 10. 

  • Natalie Reynolds chipped in with nine kills and added three digs and an ace, while Stella Bailey recorded 31 set assists and added team-best 14 digs in the match. 

  • In the second match of the day, Sanders led a trio of Rams with double digit kills. Sanders recorded 16 kills on 35 attempts and added two digs and three blocks. 

  • Reynolds finished the match with 12 kills on 19 swings with just two errors for a .526 attack percentage. 

  • Szymanski finished the match with a double double of 11 kills and 11 digs to go along with two aces. 

  • Bailey finished the match with 40 assists and 11 digs, while Carly Beaulieu and Anneli DiVirgilio chipped in with 12 digs apiece.
