Volleyball Falls to Salve Regina 3-1
Newport, RI – The Framingham State University volleyball team took the opening set 28-26, but the Rams were ultimately defeated 3-1 by Salve Regina University this evening in non-conference action at the Rodger Rec. Center.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- The Rams were defeated by the Seahawks by scores of 26-28, 25-15, 26-24 and 25-13.
- Sophomore Hailey Sanders led the Rams on the attack with 13 kills on 25 attempts with just two errors for a .440 hitting percentage. Sanders added four digs and two blocks.
- Junior Brandee Thomas chipped in with six kills and a team-best 15 defensive digs.
- Freshman Isabel Henwood added 13 digs, while Morgan Failla added 12 and 27 set assists.
- The Seahawks received a match-best 19 kills and 10 digs from Nicole Karabaich, while Brighton Solheim added 18 kills on 38 attempts for a .368 hitting percentage.
- Madison Lee added 10 kills and seven digs, while the back row was led by 22 digs from Kate Murphy.

The Rams are back in action Saturday night when they host Westfield State for a MASCAC match beginning at 5 p.m.
