Brinkman Tabbed as MASCAC Volleyball Rookie of the Week

Framingham, Mass. – Freshman outside hitter Kelly Brinkman (Gardiner, NY) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Volleyball Rookie of the Week for the week ending November 5^th.            

Brinkman earns her sixth rookie of the week honor this season after averaging 14.5 kills and 5.5 digs per match during the MASCAC Volleyball Tournament.  Brinkman tallied 18 kills and eight digs in a come from behind 3-2 victory over Westfield State in the semifinals and closed her rookie season with 11 kills, three digs and a block in a 3-1 loss to Worcester State in the tournament finals.
