Volleyball Defeats Regis 3-0 in Non-Conference Action

Weston, Mass. – The Framingham State University volleyball team swept host Regis College 3-0 this evening in non-conference action at Higgs Court. The Rams earned the victory by scores of 26-24, 25-20 and 25-15.

With the win, the Rams improve to 18-10 on the year, while the Pride fall to 11-15.

The Rams were led on the attack by the senior duo of Alycia Rackliffe (Feeding Hills, Mass.) and Julia Wan (South Deerfield, Mass.).  Rackliffe recorded a team-high 12 kills with 14 digs and four blocks, while Wan added 10 kills and two digs. 

Junior Jocelyn Wilbur (Braintree, Mass.) was solid in the back row with 10 digs, while sophomore Mackenzie Whalen (Norton, Mass.) added 11 digs and 26 set assists.

The Rams are back in action on Thursday night when they travel to Curry for a non-conference match at 6 p.m.
