Salem, Mass. – The Framingham State University volleyball team received a match-high 13 kills from senior Annie DeLoid (Plymouth, Mass.) as the Rams defeated Salem State University 3-0 this evening in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action at Twohig Gym.
With the win, the Rams improve to 21-6 on the season and are now 4-1 in conference play, while the Vikings are now 6-15 overall and 2-3 in the MASCAC.
DeLoid collected her 13 kills on 25 attempts with five errors for a .320 hitting percentage to go along with four service aces. Junior Alycia Rackliffe (Feeding Hills, Mass.) tallied 10 kills and seven digs, while senior Danielle Girard (Tivoli, NY) added a match-best 16 digs. Sophomore Sarah Leonard (Southborough, Mass.) chipped in with 23 set assists and two aces.
The Rams are back in action on Saturday with a non-conference tri-match at Emerson with Bates College.
