Fernandes Tabbed as MASCAC Volleyball Player of the Week

Framingham, Mass. – Junior outside hitter Andressa Fernandes (Framingham, Mass.) has been selected the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Volleyball Player of the Week for the week ending November 4^th.  Fernandes has been selected the MASCAC Player of the Week six times this season.

Fernandes earned Most Valuable Player honors in leading the Rams to their first MASCAC Tournament Championship by averaging 15 kills, seven digs and three aces per match in the tournament.  She racked up 18 kills and 10 digs in a 3-0 title match victory over Bridgewater State.

The Rams will face Connecticut College in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament this weekend.
