Fernandes Earns Fourth MASCAC Volleyball Player of the Week Honors

Framingham, Mass. – Junior outside hitter Andressa Fernandes (Framingham, Mass.) has been selected the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Volleyball Player of the Week for the week ending October 7^th.   

Fernandes has been named the MASCAC Volleyball Player of the Week four out of the five weeks this season that the MASCAC has selected a player of the week including the last three in a row.  She averaged 13 kills and 8.3 digs in a 2-1 week for the Rams that included a 17 kill, 10 dig and four ace performance in a 3-0 victory over Eastern Nazarene.  Fernandes currently leads the MASCAC in kills averaging 3.97 per set and is second in hitting percentage (.340) to teammate Ashley Nee (Hanson, Mass.).
