Volleyball Downs Southern Vermont in Three
Framingham, Mass. - The Framingham State College volleyball team picked up their seventh win of the season this morning with a 3-0 win over Southern Vermont College in non-conference action at Framingham's Athletic & Recreation Center on Homecoming and Family Weekend. The Rams (7-9) won by scores of 25-5, 25-8, and 25-7.
Junior Ashley Trudeau (Rockland, Mass.) led the Rams with a team-high 12 kills, six aces and three digs, while freshman Courtney Moylan (Bourne, Mass.) added seven aces. Junior Jessi Goode (Marston Mills, Mass.) chipped in a team his 12 digs, while freshman Meaghan Callahan (Bridgewater, Mass.) added 17 assists.
The Rams return to action on Wednesday as they travel to Bridgewater State for a 6 p.m. match, while Southern Vermont travels to SUNY-Colbskill on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
