Keene State Soars Past Women’s Soccer

Framingham, Mass. – The Keene State women's soccer team defeated Framingham State by a score of 4-0 in non-conference action Wednesday afternoon at Maple Street Field. 

THE BASICS: 

- Score:  Keene State 4, Framingham State 0 

- Records: Framingham State (1-8), Keene State (6-2-3) 

- Location: Maple State Field Framingham, Mass. 

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

  • Keene State got on the board in the 6th minute when Elizabeth Kopicko finished a pass from Bryn Dickinson for the 1-0 lead. 

  • Despite outshooting the Rams 14-to-1 the two teams entered the break with the Owls leading 1-0.  

  • The visitors added three goals late in the game. First Elizabeth Tschudin scored in the 74thminute. Then Katie Hattie and Isabella Moran both scored in the 80thminute to reach the final margin.  

  • Keene outshot the Rams 35-to-2 in the game and had 8 corner kick opportunities.  

  • Riley Andriski earned the shutout win for the Owls while Jetta Oskirko and Regan Fein split time in goal for the Rams.

The Rams return to action on Saturday when they head to Westfield State for a MASCAC clash at noon.
