Framingham, Mass. – The Bridgewater State women's soccer team scored a goal in each half en route to a 2-0 MASCAC conference win over Framingham State Saturday afternoon at Maple Street Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Bears jumped out to an early lead when Sydney Dewhurst got them on the board with an assist from Mia Chrisafideis.

Bridgewater added an insurance tally early in the second when Jenna Sweeney scored again with the helper coming from Chrisafideis.

The Bears held the pace for most of the contest outshooting the Rams 30-to-5 on the day.

Jetta Oskirko kept the game close by making nine stops in net for the Rams.

Tori Gemellaro earned the shutout making four saves for the Bears.

The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they host Keene State at 4:30pm. The Bears will travel to Lesley for non-league play on Tuesday evening.
