Women's Soccer Opens MASCAC Play with 2-0 Victory over MCLA

North Adams, Mass. - The Framingham State University women's soccer team broke into the win column with a 2-0 victory this afternoon over MCLA in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action at the Zavattaro Athletic Complex.

-Records: Framingham State (1-3, 1-0 MASCAC), MCLA (1-2-1, 0-1 MASCAC)

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Rams received a pair of goals from Hailey Baker in the game as Baker connected on both of her shots on net in the game. 

  • Jetta Oskirko earned the victory in net for the Rams recording the shutout while making eight stops. 

  • The Rams held a 22-10 edge over the Trailblazers in shots for the game and held a slim 6-5 edge in corners. 

  • After a scoreless first half, Baker tallied an unassisted marker in the 56th minute to give the Rams the lead for good. 

  • Baker doubled the advantage when she converted off feeds from Abigail Savard and Tarynn Smith in the 87th minute to reach the final margin.
