Framingham, Mass. – The Framingham State women's soccer team was defeated by Roger Williams by a score of 4-0 in the season opener for both squads.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Roger Williams scored three first half goals. First, in the 11thminute Bianca Robbins scored the first goal of the season.

Raffaella Brunetti converted a penalty kick in the 16thminute after a foul inside the box. Brunetti scored another goal less than two minutes later to put the Hawks up 3-0.

Robbins closed the scoring in the 58th minute to reach the final margin.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

The trio of Bailey Bourque, Sami Brody & Coco Marrelli earned the shutout in net for the Hawks

Jetta Oskirko made two saves in net for the Rams.
