Austin Named ECAC Division III New England All-Star

Framingham, Mass. – Senior midfielder Kayla Austin (Winchester, Mass.) has been named an Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England First Team All-Star.

Austin has earned multiple honors after her outstanding senior season for the Rams.  She was previously named to the Capital One Academic All-America Women's Soccer Second Team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and the Capital One Academic All-District Women's Soccer Team for district one.  Austin was tabbed as the 2013 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Soccer Player of the Year and a first team All-MASCAC selection.

Austin led the 2013 Rams to their best record (13-3-1) since 2000.  The Rams won the MASCAC Regular Season Title and earned a berth in the ECAC Division III New England Tournament.  Austin either scored or assisted on 48% of the Rams 58 goals this season.  She led the Rams with 42 points on 14 goals and 14 assists which placed her among the national leaders in assists and assists per game.
